01The short version

CargoNest uses the minimum a shop needs to work: a cookie to keep an administrator signed in, and browser local storage to remember your cart between pages.

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not run third-party trackers, advertising pixels or behavioural profiling. We do not sell or share your browsing data. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner: there is nothing here that needs consent.

02What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep and hand back on later requests. Local storage is similar, but the data stays in your browser and is not sent with every request.

Cookies are called strictly necessary when a site cannot function without them — keeping you signed in, for example. Those do not require consent. Anything used for analytics, advertising or profiling does require consent, and we do not use any.

03What we actually use

NameTypePurposeExpires
cargonest_adminStrictly necessary cookieKeeps a signed-in store administrator authenticated. It is only ever set on our internal administration area, never by shopping the store.8 hours, or on sign-out
cargonest_cart_v1Local storage (not a cookie)Remembers the items in your cart so they survive moving between pages and closing the tab. It holds product references and quantities only — no name, address or payment data.Until you clear your browser data or complete checkout

Nothing in either is used to identify you as a person, and neither is shared with anyone.

04Third parties

When you pay, you are handed to Stripe'sown checkout, which sets its own cookies to run the payment and prevent fraud. That happens on Stripe's domain under Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies, and is necessary to take a card payment securely.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, request, timestamp) for security and reliability. These are logs, not cookies, and are covered in our Privacy Policy.

We do not embed advertising networks, social media pixels, session recording, heat mapping or third-party analytics on magasssol.shop.

05How to control them

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Clearing site data for magasssol.shop will empty your saved cart and sign out any administrator session.

Because we only use strictly necessary storage, blocking it will not stop you browsing the catalogue — but your cart will forget its contents as you move between pages.

06Changes

If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will update this page and ask for your consent before it is set — not afterwards. This policy was last updated on 15 July 2026.
