Move Sizer Notice

The Move Sizer is a selection tool. You answer five questions — home size, distance, whether you have many fragile items, how much hanging clothing, and whether some of it is going into long-term storage — and it suggests a main kit plus two or three add-on packs, with a one-line reason for each.

It is a rules-based tool. Your answers are matched against a fixed set of rules we wrote by hand, in your own browser. It is not a machine-learning model, it does not learn from you, and it does not profile you.

• It is not advice. It is a shortcut through our catalogue, not a professional opinion about your move.
• It is not a survey of your home. It has never seen your rooms and does not know what is in your cupboards.
• It is not a guarantee of quantity. Two identical two-bedroom flats can need very different numbers of boxes. Suggestions are a starting point to adjust, not a calculation to trust blindly.
• It is not a promise about delivery, stock or protection. Delivery estimates live in the Shipping & Delivery Policy; what our supplies can and cannot protect against is in the Terms of Service.
• It is not a decision about you. It produces no legal or similarly significant effect, and it makes no automated decision within the meaning of data-protection law.

You know your belongings; the tool does not. Before ordering, sanity-check the suggestion against what you can actually see around you:

• Heavy collectors of books, crockery, tools or hobby equipment usually need more small boxes than average.
• Minimally furnished or partly furnished rentals usually need fewer.
• If you are between two sizes, the larger kit is the cheaper mistake — running out mid-pack costs a day.
• Adjust any quantity in the cart before checkout, or ask us and we will give you an honest opinion.

Nothing the Move Sizer suggests overrides the safety guidance on the product page or in our Terms of Service — particularly load limits, stacking and lifting.

Your five answers are processed in your browser to produce the suggestion. We do not store them against your identity, we do not build a profile from them, and we do not share them with anyone.

If you add a suggested bundle to your cart, what is saved is the same as any other cart: product references and quantities in your browser's local storage. Detail in the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

Because the Move Sizer is a convenience, we do not warrant that a suggested bundle will hold everything you own, or that it is the cheapest combination for your move. What you buy remains your decision, and normal consumer rights apply to whatever you buy.

If a suggestion left you short or over-supplied, tell us — unused, resaleable items come back within 30 days under the Refund & Returns Policy, and the feedback improves the rules for the next person.
